Though the city of Bedford Heights, Ohio was founded in 1951, it was originally part of the neighboring city of Bedford. The history of the area dates back to pre-1800. This Cleveland suburb began as a small village and has grown to around 11,000 residents while maintaining its small-town atmosphere. The city government is managed by a Mayor and City Council, and the city provides full-time fire and police services. The Bedford City School District provides public education. The nearby WhirlyBall center offers laser tag, bowling, virtual reality games, and plenty of room for family or corporate gatherings.
